Good stay. Very quiet. 8 min walk to hotel from Term 4- or call up and get shuttle bus on demand. You can also walk through bottom floor of car park. Busy check in and only had two staff on, so bit of a wait. Hotel restaurant was nice meal and not overly pricey so happy with that. Rooms bit dated- but not an issue. Quite roomy anyway. Open air carpark- good for those with over height cars ( vans, 4wd etc) Lovely lady who ran shuttle bus

We booked in to The Holiday Inn because we had a very early flight to catch the next day. The staff were friendly and helpful - I needed to borrow an Australian adapter to charge my cellphone (which was readily available) and we asked for a wake-up call. This came through on time, with a follow up call 10 minutes later. The Holiday Inn was conveniently situated close to the airport and we were able to walk to the departure area easily. A shuttle service was available but the proximity of the airport to the hotel made this unnecessary.

The hotel is in a great location to the airport and the shuttle bus is available every 15mins to take you to the airport. The room had everything we need for a night before an early flight.

Perfect place for a night if coming in late on a flight and/or leaving early - or both. Convenient short distance to walk from the arrival terminal to the hotel. Courtesy pick-up was also offered which we took advantage of since being jet-lagged and saving a bit of time and re-orientation late in the evening upon arrival. The breakfast was the best buffet we had during our stay in Australia incl. sweet and savory, much due to the juicer with access to ginger among other fruits and vegs. Good beds and bathroom facilities as per expectations for a hotel in this class.

Staff were exceptional, and the provided shuttle to and from the airport was a great help. Breakfast was good, they had self serve juicers and fresh fruit and veg, I didn't get a chance to use it unfortunately but it looked good. The room was spacious and beds comfortable, the cot provided was comfortable and clean and the hotel provided a baby care kit with soap and stuff and extra face washers, we only stayed a night, so we didn't need to use it, but the gesture was appreciated. Staff also gave me 2 activity books with crayons for my children, which was kind. Most importantly, we couldn't hear the airport despite being so close.

The executive suite is large and very comfortable, a quiet room. The staff are pleasant. They have a great airport shuttle service which is very convenient and there is a luggage scale in the foyer so you can check your luggage isn't over weight prior to departure.

I chose to stay near the airport for my last night in Melbourne as I had an early morning flight home. My room was quiet and comfortable although clean the condition of the room was a little tired. I had a shower over the bath but I would have preferred a dedicated shower at my age. The dinner at the restaurant was very good and the buffet breakfast good. The building programme going on at the airport made taking the normally short walk from the terminal convoluted but the shuttle in the morning back to the terminal was very responsive.

Very Convenient and well signposted , to walk to Airport. Probably 10 min. A free shuttle bus also available. Room is compact, but comfortable. Clean , with a separate coffee making area, and small fridge- again, very convenient when travelling.

Loved the free shuttle picking us up at the airport even though we arrived closed to 1am. Would recommend you call them when you are still in the airport so that you don't wait too long for them to pick you up. We didn't the first time and waited a bit but second time was perfect timing. I found the place excellent for travelling with young children, little details that didn't go unnoticed like the free activity booklet on arrival, the breakfast buffet with plastic bowls and cups for the little ones, the colouring activities etc. It was lovely. Thank you....makes travelling with children so much more relaxing for parents. We only stayed one night and it was the perfect way to start our holidays.
